UNDERGRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE BEHAVIORAL ECOLOGY LAB AT MILLS COLLEGE
- Interested in research? Join us! Team Squirrel is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion - students all of genders and backgrounds are welcome; those from historically underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged and supported to overcome legacies of exclusion. Course credit for this is available to support undergraduates. Graduate students and postdocs are also invited to join us for collaborations.
JILL BARRETT UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH PROGRAM IN BIOLOGY

- Each summer, a subset of my research students receive prestigious fellowships and housing stipends from the Jill Barrett Research Program in Biology to participate in summer undergraduate research at Briones Regional Park.
- This award-winning program increases representation, participation and leadership of diverse groups of women and non-gender conforming students in STEM.
- The program facilitates professional development, leadership, and discoveries through mentored research. The capstone of the summer is our Annual Barrett Research Symposium. Interested? Please contact email me (jesmith-at-mills.edu)!
